"Administrative Footsteps as Future Assets"... Cheonan Education Support Office Launches Record Management Training
Enhancing capabilities of school and department managers... Covering the entire practical process from production to disposal
May 18, 2026
[Cheonan/CTN] Reporter Kang Hyun-su = The Chungcheongnam-do Cheonan Education Support Office has taken steps to strengthen the capabilities of frontline record managers to enhance transparency and accountability in educational administration and systematically preserve precious educational assets for future generations.
On the 18th, the support office conducted the "2026 Cheonan Education Support Office Record Management Training" targeting record managers from local schools and departments in its main conference room. This training was organized to elevate record management capabilities to the next level, establish a systematic record-keeping culture, and solidify the foundation for trusted and transparent administrative operations.
The training was conducted with a practical curriculum encompassing the entire process of record management, from production and classification to preservation, evaluation, and disposal. In particular, it enhanced participants' understanding by covering efficient utilization methods of the business management system along with various case-centered practical contents that frequently occur in actual educational fields. It also received great responses by presenting checkpoints easily overlooked during record management in schools and departments, as well as practical processing techniques to maximize work efficiency.
Cha Deok-hwan, Chief of the Cheonan Education Support Office, emphasized, "Records are important assets that vividly capture the entire process of administration and are precious records to be passed down to future generations." He added, "I hope this training serves as an opportunity to enhance the expertise of record management in the school field and remind everyone once again of the immense importance of record management."
