Candidate Lee Wan-seop Unveils Blueprint for 'West Coast's Top Tourism City': "Changing Seosans Map with Proven Results"
[Politics / CTN] Reporter Ga Geum-hyeon = Anyone can make empty promises. However, redrawing the map through concrete results is something only a truly capable mayor can achieve.

Lee Wan-seop, candidate for Mayor of Seosan, is garnering widespread support from Seosan citizens by declaring his vision for a 'Tourism Revolution' that aims to transform Seosan's blessed natural resources into economic assets, reported Ga Geum-hyeon, a journalist for CTN, South Korea's leading online newspaper.

On the 19th, Candidate Lee presented a detailed action plan to elevate Seosan into the premier tourism hub of the West Coast by clustering the city's northern, southern, eastern, and western regions under a unified theme.

Lees latest campaign pledge stands out for its meticulous design, aimed at reshaping Seosans future landscape. First, he plans to turn Seosan into a global mecca for ecotourism by establishing the Garorim Bay National Marine Eco-Park and registering the Seosan Mudflats as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site.

He also promised to usher in an era of stay-over tourism by constructing an 18-hole tourism-oriented park golf course within the Ganwoldo Tourist Area and completing the 'Seosan-style Tourism Belt' that connects Haemi, Unsan, Ganwoldo, Samgilpo, and Hwanggeumsan.

The blueprint includes a large number of lifestyle-oriented tourism infrastructures that directly benefit citizens. Plans include establishing a healing hub through the creation of the Gayasan Forest Welfare Complex, and revitalizing the local economy by building a Hanwoo (Korean Native Cattle) History Museum and a specialized street within the Unsan Rural Tourism and Resort Complex.

In particular, his ambition to make Seosan vibrant at night by improving night-view lighting at Samgilpo and installing a 'hot-air balloon' mobile observatory is receiving an enthusiastic response from residents.

The strongest evidence backing the tourism revolution proposed by Candidate Lee is his already proven track record. Lee has consistently elevated the caliber of Seosan's tourism by successfully opening the Hanwoo Ranch Trail (Dec. '24), securing the elevation of the Five-Story Stone Pagoda at Bowonsa Temple Site to a National Treasure (Dec. '25), and constructing the Ganwoldo Marine Scenic Trail (Nov. '23). Additionally, the ongoing project to build the 17-billion-won Inji Night Sky Walkway demonstrates his undeniable execution power.

Candidate Lee Wan-seop emphasized, "The power to awaken Seosan's hidden potential comes from rich experience and driving force. I will definitely transform Seosan into a premium tourism city where everyone wants to visit, elevating the pride of Seosan citizens into tourism value."
