한상경 선대위원장 역시 “이번 단일화는 합리적 진보·민주 교육의 가치를 지키고 충남교육의 더 큰 미래를 열기 위한 필연적인 선택”이라며 “김영춘 예비후보와 완벽한 원팀이 되어 변화와 발전을 위해 함께하겠다”고 화답했다. 그는 단일화의 의미가 단순한 인물 통합에 그치지 않고 도민과 교육가족의 마음을 하나로 묶는 강력한 구심점이 될 수 있도록 모든 힘을 보태겠다고 밝혔다.

[Cheonan/CTN] Reporter Kang Hyun-su = Kim Young-choon, a candidate for Chungnam Education Superintendent, has begun a full-scale expansion of his influence by consolidating the will of citizens who long for rational progressive and democratic education through unification with former candidate Han Sang-kyung.
On the 13th, Candidate Kim, along with Campaign Chair Han Sang-kyung, visited Cheonan Veterans Park and Asan Hyeonchungsa Shrine in succession as their first official schedule since the unification. This move was prepared to honor the noble spirit of ancestors who devoted themselves to the nation and the region ahead of a fundamental change in Chungnam education, while simultaneously proclaiming a firm determination toward educational innovation to the public.
At the site, Candidate Kim Young-choon emphasized, “The unification with former candidate Han Sang-kyung was a responsible decision for the future of Chungnam education,” and added, “I will solemnly uphold the will of the citizens who desire change and innovation in Chungnam education.” He continued, “Now, with a united heart, I will create a Chungnam education that students, parents, teachers, and citizens can all trust.” In particular, he expressed a strong will to meet educational families and citizens across Chungnam starting with the visits to the Veterans Park and Hyeonchungsa to listen to vivid voices from the field and powerfully open a new path.
Campaign Chair Han Sang-kyung also responded, “This unification is an inevitable choice to protect the values of rational progressive and democratic education and to open a greater future for Chungnam education,” and stated, “I will become a perfect 'one team' with Candidate Kim Young-choon and stand together for change and development.” He added that he would pour all his efforts into ensuring that the meaning of unification does not stop at a simple integration of candidates but serves as a powerful pivotal point to unite the hearts of citizens and educational families.
Candidate Kim, who has led the consolidation of the progressive camp through the strategic move of unification, plans to tighten the reins of his election campaign starting from this visit and lead changes in the field. Attention is focused on how their 'one team' journey, featuring rational alternatives and innovative visions, will create a ripple effect in the stagnant Chungnam educational community and bring a new breeze.
