이번 기념식은 '모두가 발명가인 나라, 꿈이 실현되는 대한민국'을 표어로 내걸고 SK하이닉스㈜ 안현 사장에게 최고 영예인 금탑 산업훈장을, 에이치엘만도㈜ 조성현 대표이사에게 은탑 산업훈장을 수여했다. 또한 제도 시행 이후 첫 여성 수상자로 ㈜케어젠 김은미 부사장을 '올해의 발명왕'에 선정했으며, 행사장에 AI 반도체, 로봇 액추에이터, 에어리스 타이어 등 주요 수상기업의 우수 혁신 기술을 소개하는 전시 부스를 함께 마련해 대한민국의 선진 기술력을 한눈에 보여주겠다는 방침이다.
