시는 전시 및 공습, 대규모 자연재해 등 국가적 위기 상황에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 시민 접근성이 높고 대규모 인원을 수용할 수 있는 주요 지정 민방위 대피시설에 대형 비상용품함을 전격 설치했다고 21일 밝혔다. 이번 조치는 단순한 대피 공간 제공이라는 기존 소극적 방재 행정에서 탈피해, 대피소 내부에서 시민들이 스스로를 보호하고 구호할 수 있는 물리적 안보 시스템을 갖췄다는 점에서 의의가 크다.
