간담회에 참석한 시민단체 관계자들은 “당진의 지속가능한 미래를 위해 명확한 정책 추진 의지를 보여준 점을 높이 평가한다”며 향후 정책 실현을 위한 긴밀한 민관 협력을 당부했다.
이에 대해 김 후보는 “일부 과제는 지방정부의 권한을 넘어선 중앙정부 차원의 협력이 필수적”이라며 “대통령, 도지사 후보와 '원팀'을 이뤄 중앙정부 및 관계기관을 설득하고 실질적인 성과를 반드시 도출해내겠다”고 자신감을 피력했다.
