[Cheonan/CTN] Reporter Kang Hyun-su = The Cheonan Philharmonic Orchestra is set to present the solemn beauty and intense artistic energy of the era to citizens, featuring masterpieces by Dmitri Shostakovich, the 20th-century Russian musical giant.
The orchestra will hold its 64th Regular Concert, titled "Special Maestro Concert," at the Grand Theater of the Cheonan Arts Center on the 11th of next month to deeply illuminate Shostakovich's musical worldview.
This performance features a collaboration between Choi Hee-jun, a representative conductor of the Korean classical music scene, and Han Sang-il, a pianist of outstanding technique.
