[순천/CTN]하성매 기자= 순천에코칼리지는 시민들이 지역의 생태적 의제를 직접 발굴하고 토론해 정책 아이디어를 제안하는 참여형 숙의 프로그램인 '생태공론장'의 예비참여자를 연내 상시 모집한다고 밝혔다. 이번에 도입되는 생태공론장은 지역 주민들이 일상에서 느끼는 환경, 교통, 주거, 교육 등 다양한 분야의 현안을 생태주의적 관점에서 재해석하고 해결 방안을 모색하는 열린 소통 기구다. 특히 이번 공론장에는 인간의 이익만을 대변하는 기존 토론 방식에서 벗어나, 자연과 생태계 자체를 대변하는 역할을 시민이 직접 맡아 수행하는 '비인간 대변인 제도'를 새롭게 도입해 운영하는 것이 특징이다.
