경찰은 자율방범대 등 협력단체와 유기적인 공조 체계를 가동하고 대규모 범죄예방 대응 전략회의를 전격 개최했다고 밝혔다. 이번 전략회의에서는 데이터 분석을 기반으로 한 범죄 취약지역 중심의 선제적 예방 활동 강화 방안이 심도 있게 논의됐다. 특히 최근 사회적 문제로 대두된 묻지마 범죄 분위기를 선제적으로 제압하기 위해 치안 인프라에 대한 물리적 장벽을 높이는 고강도 대책들이 대거 도마 위에 올랐다.
